# About NotiKeep and our guides

## Who publishes this site

NotiKeep is an independent iPhone app developed by Gustavo Takechi. The developer also publishes this site and has a commercial interest in NotiKeep. Product recommendations should be read with that relationship in mind.

## How we prepare the guides

We use official Apple and WhatsApp documentation for their platforms. NotiKeep explanations use implemented behavior and recorded physical-device observations from the project. AI assists with writing and technical review.

Recorded WhatsApp and iOS 27 tests showed previously captured text remaining after Delete for Everyone, and an edit arriving as another notification. The exact WhatsApp version and original execution date were not recorded. These observations do not cover every app or guarantee future behavior.

## Repeat the check on your phone

- Record your iOS and WhatsApp versions.

- Configure capture and receive a harmless test message.

- Confirm the saved copy before asking the sender to edit or delete it.

- Compare the WhatsApp chat with the saved text and record the result.

NotiKeep only saves delivered notification content. It does not recover earlier chats or media, or automatically detect edits and deletions.
